Course Module 7: First Draft Budget - This course can be purchased individually, or you can purchase the total 12-module total program. Cost discounts will apply if you purchase all 12 at once.

Course Goal: :  Basic introduction into budget components, presentation and development approaches.

Course Content:  The Preparing to Launch First Draft Budget module (1.25 hours) provides an in-depth review of the budget development processes. 

In addition to laying the groundwork for solid budget preparation, the module includes an introduction to annual timelines, practices and strategies.  Additional content includes intro into progressive budget-creation, nonprofit templates, reporting and supporting staff considerations.

Includes a total of twenty-seven (27) real world challenge questions and written exercises.  Following the participation in Creating a First Draft Budget, participants will be enabled to create a robust first budget and be prepared for Module 8 participation, Writing the First Grant.
